#52 Stay curious
You are in the midst of exams at the moment and have reached the point where you are starting to complete all of the assessment for some subjects. One evening you realised “I never need to study German again!”
On the one hand you were understandably relieved to not need to take any more German exams. On the other hand, there was a sadness about that phase coming to a close, followed by the delightful realisation that you don’t have to stop learning German just because it isn’t a class in school.
You can choose to keep learning German! Or learn a completely different language!
You can choose what you learn about, so stay curious.
Let yourself go down intellectual rabbit holes and see where they take you.
Nerd-out on something seemingly random just because it piqued your interest.
Stay curious.
P.S. When I started these messages I thought I might find 10 things to write about, maybe 20. Then at the start of this year I set myself the goal of getting to a year’s worth of weekly posts. Whilst I might keep going, I’m going to give myself that little gold start today for writing to you every week for a whole year.
